Engagement flow

01 Discovery

Mapped merchant pain around inventory risk, catalog hygiene, and dashboard fatigue. Defined hard constraints: no silent destructive edits, approval before consequential actions, and a path from insights to agents in one app.

02 Architecture

Designed Shopify App surfaces, conversational context packing, and an approval-first agent pipeline so Inventory and Catalog agents can investigate, stage, and execute safely.

03 Build

Shipped live briefings, Q&A, alerts, and summaries; implemented the interaction model for preview-and-approve flows; prepared agent capabilities for inventory and catalog operations.

04 Launch

Published to the Shopify App Store with a clear value proposition—agents that investigate and act with approval—and a roadmap merchants can grow into without switching tools.

01

What was broken

Opportunity

Shopify merchants are drowning in dashboards that report problems but rarely help resolve them. Stock risk, messy catalogs, and sales questions still demand manual Admin work, spreadsheets, and tribal knowledge—especially for teams without a dedicated ops hire.

The brief was clear: ship AI that investigates and prepares work, not another analytics widget. Silent or destructive edits were unacceptable. Every important change had to be previewed and approved before execution, with a path from today’s briefings into Inventory and Catalog agents inside the same app.

02

What we built

Approach

We designed and shipped a Shopify app centered on conversational store intelligence: morning briefings, sales and inventory Q&A, stock-risk alerts, and weekly summaries that merchants can act on immediately.

Architecture prioritized approval-first agent flows. Inventory Agent and Catalog Agent are built as natural-language operators that investigate, stage a plan, wait for human approval, then execute and report—never applying large or destructive changes silently.

The product experience keeps merchants in the loop: ask in plain English, review the proposed actions, approve, and receive a clear results trail suitable for day-to-day store operations.

03

Why it matters

Impact

Merchants get a live App Store product for store Q&A and risk visibility today, with a coherent roadmap into agentic inventory and catalog operations under the same approval model.

The result is AI that feels like a careful operator—investigating, proposing, and executing only with consent—rather than a black-box automation layer.
